The Innovation Fund of Montenegro has concluded 2025 as its most successful year to date, supporting 109 new projects with a total allocation exceeding EUR 4.1 million.
Since its establishment, the Fund has financed a total of 278 projects across all its support programmes, with cumulative funding exceeding EUR 12.2 million.
2025 Programme Breakdown
- Proof of Concept: 19 projects supported, EUR 691,103.79
- Early-Stage Startups: 12 projects supported, EUR 390,789.40
- MSME Innovation: 14 projects supported, EUR 2,435,454.15
- Innovation Vouchers: 14 vouchers awarded, EUR 123,442.58
- Other Support Programmes: 28 projects supported, EUR 269,658.96
The Fund received over 470 applications in 2025, requesting more than EUR 18 million in support, with an approval rate of approximately 23%.
Quality evaluation was ensured through 119 international evaluators from over 30 countries who participated in peer-review processes.
