As part of the World Bank's official visit to Montenegro, organised through the Building an Effective Sustainable and Transformational Public Sector (BEST) programme, representatives of the World Bank visited the Innovation Fund of Montenegro on 4 March 2026.
During the meeting with the Fund's management, discussions focused on progress in the field of innovation in Montenegro, with particular emphasis on institutional capacities, coordination mechanisms within the innovation ecosystem, and opportunities for its further development.
As part of the visit, the Innovation Fund also hosted a round table with representatives of companies that are beneficiaries of the Fund's support programmes. The aim of this meeting was to exchange experiences and discuss the needs and challenges faced by innovative enterprises, as well as to identify opportunities for providing additional support in the coming period.
