Through the GovTech programme, the Innovation Fund of Montenegro is supporting the development of smart city solutions that address real challenges faced by Montenegrin municipalities.
Among the 91 challenges submitted by public institutions in Phase I, a significant number relate to urban mobility, waste management, energy efficiency in public buildings, and digital citizen services.
Companies selected in Phase II will begin developing their solutions in early 2026, with the goal of deploying pilot implementations in partner municipalities.
