The Innovation Fund's GovTech programme has successfully completed Phase I, with 91 challenges submitted by public institutions from across Montenegro.
The challenges were submitted by a wide range of public bodies including ministries, municipalities, public enterprises and agencies. They span areas such as digital service delivery, open data management, urban mobility, healthcare administration and environmental monitoring.
Following a review process, the Innovation Fund has selected the most feasible and impactful challenges to be included in Phase II — the open call for technology companies and startups to develop solutions addressing these needs.
Phase II of the GovTech programme is now open for applications. Eligible applicants include startups and SMEs registered in Montenegro who can propose a concrete digital or technology-based solution to one of the published government challenges. Grant amounts range from EUR 30,000 to EUR 100,000 per project.
All published challenges and the full Phase II call documentation are available on the Innovation Fund's website at fondzainovacije.me.
