The Innovation Fund of Montenegro has announced the results of the 2024 public call for Collaborative Grants for Innovation. Out of 32 applications received, 6 projects have been selected for funding with a total allocation of EUR 941,111.61.
The selected projects span a wide range of sectors including digital health, sustainable agriculture, advanced manufacturing and environmental monitoring. Each consortium is composed of at least one business entity and one research organisation, in line with the programme's requirement to foster industry-academia collaboration.
The evaluation process was conducted by an independent panel of international experts who assessed applications on the basis of innovation potential, team capacity, market readiness and the clarity of the commercialisation plan.
Grant agreements will be signed in the coming weeks, after which the selected projects will enter a 24-month implementation phase. The Innovation Fund will provide ongoing monitoring and support throughout the project period.
