The Innovation Fund has announced the results of the 2022 Collaborative Research Grants programme. Following evaluation by an international expert panel, 3 consortium projects were selected for co-financing with a total awarded amount of EUR 540,000.
The selected projects involve partnerships between Montenegrin universities, research institutes, NGOs and private companies, covering thematic areas including AI-powered biodiversity monitoring, detection of marine microplastics in the Adriatic Sea, and community-level renewable energy platforms.
Each project runs for 18 to 24 months. The programme underlined the Innovation Fund's commitment to fostering research collaboration that generates both scientific knowledge and practical, commercially viable outcomes. Progress reports and final outcomes of all funded projects will be made publicly available on the Fund's website.
